Planning for Next Stage of Education??

Okay… I have to admit that I felt very exhausted while typing this post because I started my classes today at 8.30am and I never get the chance to recharge my energy back so basically I couldn’t stay late at night just to study or even do my homework. I think I will wake up at noon later because a lot of things are running through my mind now.

I went for class until 1.30pm then went to Monash University’s introduction. I asked the marketing person who went to the same high school as me about psychology and whether I could do double major. Eventually, she managed to convince me so I’m applying to Monash University for the February intake next year. I’m planning to do double major with the same course fees with single major and some electives to choose from the available options. No harm trying it first because it might be good for my future after all. Applying for PTPTN loan too! What I’m worrying is accommodation. I don’t want to continue to stay at hostel because they will increase the rental fees sooner or later. I will need a bicycle to cycle to university by that time anyhow. *trying hard to ask myself to think positively!!*

-Application fee RM100 waived. XD-

After the talk, I waited until 4pm to interview candidates who applied to take over the club. I went back to hostel to take bathe at around 5.30pm then went back to library just to watch ‘Mukhsin’. (2007). It is the third installment in the "Orked" trilogy.

The story takes place in Sekinchan, Sabak Bernam in 1993, revolving around the first love of a 10-year-old Orked when a 12-year-old boy, Mukhsin, comes with his elder brother and aunt to spend the school holidays in her village.

Around this relatively simple plotline of a blossoming young romance between the film's two young protagonists, are interweaved scenes of Malaysian village life and the dynamics of different types of families. Most of the family scenes revolve around Orked and her mother (Mak Inom), father (Pak Atan), and the family's close maid who is almost like a family member (Kak Yam).

The other families which are given attention in the movie are Mukhsin's family (with his elder brother who has lost his way in life and is trying desperately to find their mother who abandoned them at a young age, and their Aunty who is trying to take care of the two boys as though they were her own), and Orked's neighbours (with the young daughter and pregnant mother who are critical of the western ways of Orked's family, while they themselves are hurt by the father who wants to abandon them to take on a second wife).

After that went out for take away for my dinner. Hokkien mee. I don’t kinda like it because it was rather oily (don’t worry, I didn’t finish eating it either!) and I felt damn thirsty right now. Seriously, I really felt like breaking down now. I can’t stand this type of pressure somehow. I hope I will feel better after sleeping for more than 8 hours later! Mock exam within a week and I never study at all! I spent my weekends by doing my mathematics homework. Argh! I hate myself for being so stupid!

Happy Fasting to the Muslims!

Happy Ghost Month too!
